The 65th Today
The 65th Armored Field Artillery Battalion Association has sponsored many reunions, published an informal history of the 65th, entitled "Rounds Complete," and sponsored many other activities in the years since the end of World War II. The Association is the primary sponsor of this website, and the support of its members has been essential.
In an effort to ensure that the website reflects positively on Battalion and the families of its members, the 65th AFA Battalion Association created a five-member board to look over the creation and maintenance of the website. The board is made up of three members of the Battalion, plus two volunteers (including the web site administrator). Board members review the general organization of the website, determine the appropriateness of materials posted, and lead the effort to raise awareness of the website and solicit submissions.
